The kids are off to school to begin their new adventure! On May 10, 2021, 8 scholarship winners left their homes in the Kajire Village to attend boarding school for the first time. After many weeks of preparation, trips to Voi to purchase uniforms and supplies, the big day finally arrived. With a formal sending off church service complete, the children boarded the bus with the blessing of family and friends. When a child receives a scholarship from c3compassion, the child is provided with all of the necessary items they need for school from tuition to a toothbrush and everything in between. As long as the child maintains good character and grades his/her scholarship will renew every year until completion of his/her secondary education. While there are many children in need, at c3compassion we want to help as many girls receive a proper education. If a girl can complete her education through secondary school she will be less likely to married young or be sold. It is our mission to help provide HOPE through education.
